'One Night Stand' movie review by audience: Live update

Director Jasmine D'Souza's Bollywood movie "One Night Stand," starring Sunny Leone, Tanuj Virwani and Nyra Banerjee, has received mixed reviews from the audience around the world.

"One Night Stand" is a romantic thriller film high on erotic quotient, but claims to offer a message to the public. Bhavani Iyer has written the story and screenplay, while Niranjan Iyengar has penned dialogues for the movie, which has been produced by Pradeep Sharma and Furquan Khan under the banner Swiss Entertainment.

"One Night Stand" revolves around Urvil Raisingh (Tanuj Virwani), who is in love with Simran (Nyra Banerjee). Things are smooth between the two, until Urvil meets married Celina (Sunny Leone) at an event. Urvil has the eponymous one-night stand with Celina and her memories haunt him. What happens next forms the crux of the story.

The audience say "One Night Stand" has an interesting concept, which explores the hypocritical world we live in. But the director has failed to have in place an engrossing screenplay. The first half of the film is engaging and entertaining, but the movie falls flat post interval and the second half is boring and unbearable.

Sunny Leone, Tanuj Virwani and Nyra Banerjee have delivered good performances, which are the highlights of "One Night Stand," which has decent production values. Rakesh Singh's beautiful cinematography, Sandeep Shirodkar's background score, and the soundtrack by Jeet Gannguli, Meet Bros, Tony Kakkar and Vivek Kar are big attractions on the technical front.
