The wait is over; One Direction finally released their brand new single "Perfect" from forthcoming album "Made in the A.M." on Friday, 16 October.

X Factor judge Nick Grimshaw who hosts Radio 1's Breakfast show made the world premiere of the song on Capital FM at 7.45 am (BST).

Marking the second official single from their new album, "Perfect" maintains the trend of maturity that the boyband has been following, of late. The voices of the four members, Niall Horan (22), Liam Payne (22), Harry Styles (21) and Louis Tomlinson (23) mould very well. Written by Louis and Harry, the song is lyrically rich and has got a rockier tune.

Niall Horan, who is the most active social media user in the British-Irish band, asked their fans how they like the new song via Twitter. Reacting to the song, directioners suffered a meltdown on Twitter.

Speculation has been making rounds that the song is about Taylor Swift. She directly threw shade at Harry with her single "Style" from her album "1989" that not only resembles Harry's surname, but also shows his airplane neckpiece in its music video.

Harry seems to have taken his revenge with "Perfect" whose lyrics carries serious hints of being about the "Blank Space" singer. However, some T-Swift fans weren't happy about the connection between the two songs, and accused the 1D boys for stealing the tune from her song "Style".

Nevertheless, if you're eager to hear "Perfect", you can listen here, and buy the single on iTunes also.
