Everyone speculated the now four-piece band "One Direction" to face their end after Zayn Malik decided to leave the group in March, this year. However, the British-Irish boyband continues to impress their fans with their new music.

Maintaining the trend of literally surprising all, two members of the group confirmed via Twitter on Friday, 9 October that their new single from their fifth album "Made in the A.M." will be called "Perfect".

The news reportedly broke out after Apple Music accidentally tweeted (now deleted) about it, and the fans, who were quick to notice, went absolutely crazy.

Confirming the report, Liam Payne (22) and Harry Styles (21) tweeted about "Perfect" being their next single on their Twitter accounts. Later, the Irish member of the band, Niall Horan (22), posted the picture of the single's cover art on his Instagram account.

"Perfect" will be the second official single of the group's new album after they released "Drag Me Down" in July, the same month when former member Zayn Malik called off his two-year-old engagement with "Little Mix" star Perrie Edwards.

Those who pre-ordered "Made in the A.M." got to listen to the band's promotional single "Infinity" as well, which was released on 22 September along with the name of their fifth album.

However, the release date of "Perfect" hasn't been revealed.

Talking about the new album, Louis Tomlinson (23) said, "We definitely felt pressure this time for the album".

Niall, on the other hand admitted that he enjoyed spending "quite a lot of time" in the studio with his band mates in a behind-the-scenes video for their North American leg of "On the Road Again" tour.

Julian Bunetta, who has been the producer of One Direction since they came into the spotlight in 2010, reportedly said that they've "experimented a little with different instrumentation" in the new album.

"The albums I've produced [for One Direction] have been pretty diverse, but still had a cohesiveness somehow when they were all put together. I think there will be the same amount of diversity, but it seems to be coming from the same perspective," Entertainment Weekly reported.

"Made in the A.M." will be the last album for the "Story of my Life" hitmakers before they go on an extended break next year.

One Direction has transformed their music into a little rockier side and a lot mature, of late. With "Drag Me Down" and "Infinity" proving to be an emotional roller-coaster, "Perfect" is expected to garner positive reviews as well.

Until then, watch how directioners are reacting over the new single on Twitter.
