The Puri directorial is NTR's 24th film. The actor will reportedly be seen in the role of a cop in the action entertainer. Kajal Aggarwal plays the heroine opposite the young tiger of Telugu cinema for the third time after "Brindavanam" and "Baadshah."
Prakash Raj, Ajaz Khan, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Vennela Kishore, Tanikella Bharani, Posani Krishna Murali, Ali, Madhuriam and Jaya Prakash Reddy are also part of the film's cast. The story is written by Vakkantham Vamsi and the editing is done by Shyam K Naidu.
The songs are composed by Anoop Ruben, while background score is reportedly being handled by Mani Sharma. Ganesh Bandla is producing the film under Parameshwara Arts banner.
This is the second time that NTR has teamed up with director Puri for a Telugu project. Their last release, "Andhrawala", which hit the screens in 2004, failed to set the cash registers ringing. Fans of the actor-director duo will be hoping that their upcoming film will satisfy them.

Producer Ganesh Bandla is confident that the film will be wrapped up in advance in order to release it during the Sankranti festival period.

The Sankranti festival period is likely to witness a big box office clash as several biggies are set to hit the screens around the same period. Besides NTR-Puri film, Pawan Kalyan-Venkatesh's "Gopala Gopala" and Varun Tej's "Mukunda" are gearing up for release during the festival.
Moreover, a few other-language films including Arjun Kapoor-Sonakshi Sinha's "Tevar" (Hindi remake of "Okkadu"), Dhanush's "Anegan" (Tamil) and Ajith's "Yennnai Arindhaal" (Tamil) are expected to hit the screens for the festival period in January 2015.
