life after death

A testimonial written by a woman named Kim in the website of NDERF (Near Death Experience Research Foundation) has now turned out to be the hottest debating point among spiritualists and extreme Christian believers. In the testimonial, the woman claimed to have seen hell following a near-death experience (NDE) as a result of an accidental overdose of medical drugs.

Kim reveals that her near-death experience happened 30 years ago. Even though the entirely distressing experience happened three decades ago, the victim apparently remembers each and every moment of her eternal journey which stopped midway after medical professionals resuscitated her.

Kim went into a four-day coma after she accidentally had a drug overdose. As per the victim, she reached the doorsteps of hell and heard the scream of devil during the NDE.

"I can't describe the smell, but the closest would be that it smelled rancid at best. I was unable to move. I could feel claws and teeth tearing at my skin. I was being eaten and torn to pieces. The pain was unimaginable. But I didn't die. I couldn't scream, nor could I get away. I couldn't understand how I was still being torn apart. My arms had been ripped off several times and I could feel something eating my stomach," wrote Kim on the NDERF website.

As the suffering went beyond limits, she suddenly came back to life, as medical professionals resuscitated her after efforts which lasted for four days.

Even though Kim claims afterlife is a reality, medical professionals are dismissing these claims, and they make it clear that 'death is the end'. As per medical professionals, people often describe seeing a bright passage during a near-death experience, and it is due to a survival technique adopted by the brain to overcome the decreased supply of oxygen.

Experts believe that death is a phenomenon which can be explained more using science rather than limiting it on religious books and philosophies.

The new testimonial from Kim comes just a few days after Eben Alexander, a neurosurgeon by profession shared his experience about NDE. In his book 'Living a Mindful Universe', Eben Alexander revealed that he has seen a heavenly entity during his near-death experience.
