Actress Nayanthara (also Nayantara) was recently linked to megastar Chiranjeevi's 150th movie, but the makers are yet to approach her with a formal offer.

Recently, Ram Charan announced the name of Puri Jagannath as director for his father Chiranjeevi's comeback film. Soon after, it was rumoured the movie will have two female lead roles and 30-year-old Nayanthara has been roped in to play the first heroine, alongside the 59-year-old megastar.

If we are to go by the latest reports, Nayanthara has given oral consent for the movie but there things are yet to take a final shape.

"A few weeks back, the makers of the Telugu project approached her with the project. She is keen on taking it up. Who wouldn't want to act opposite Chiranjeevi? However, there is no concrete proposal yet from the producer of Chiranjeevi's 150th movie. She has evinced interest in acting it. But details are yet to be shared with her," Bangalore Mirror quoted a source as saying.

Chiranjeevi, who is impressed with the storyline, is yet to see the final version of the script. Puri Jagannath is reportedly giving final touches to it. Once he gets Chiranjeevi's nod for the final version, the director will start roping in other cast and crew for the movie, say the source.

The movie will be produced by Chiranjeevi's son and actor Ram Charan Teja under his own home banner. That's the reason the family is not in a hurry to announce the details.

"Once the script is locked, we will approach the actors and technicians with possible dates," the source said. "That (Auto Johnny) may not be the eventual name of the protagonist. The title of the movie is yet to be finalised. Once we are done with all these formalities, we will approach Nayanthara," the source added.
