Nandamuri Balakrishna bumps into Amitabh Bachchan on Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar 3 set

Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna made a surprise visit to the sets of Ram Gopal Varma's Bollywood movie Sarkar 3. A photo featuring him with Amitabh Bachchan has gone viral on internet.

Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is currently shooting for his 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni, was reportedly in Mumbai to attend a private event on Monday. On the request of Ram Gopal Varma, the actor reportedly took some time out of his schedule to visit the sets of the Bollywood movie.

Everyone was surprised and thrilled to see Tollywood superstar Balakrishna on the sets of Sarkar 3. Ram Gopal Varma was said to have arrange a meeting between him and Amitabh Bachchan. Both the superstars spent some quality time, talking about the development in each other's film industries.

Sources from the industry claim that Balakrishna shared some details about the production of his upcoming epic film Gautamiputra Satakarni. Amitabh Bachchan was impressed with the film and expressed his curiosity to watch the movie. Meanwhile, Big B lauded Telugu filmmakers for enhancing the quality in the scripting and production of their movies.

However, it is not clear whether Ram Gopal Varma had an intention in having a meeting or it was just his casual invite for Balakrishna. Ram Gopal Varma posted photos featuring him with Balakrishna on his Twitter handle on Tuesday evening and wrote: "With the one and only." The photo features the filmmaker apparently showing the making of his film to Balayya.

Sarkar 3 is a political thriller set in the world of Marathi politics and crime. Ram Gopal Varma has written the script and is directing and producing the film, which is the third instalment of Sarkar film series. Amitabh Bachchan is playing the title role, while Manoj Bajpai, Jackie Shroff, Yami Gautam and Ronit Roy appear in the important cast.
