The season 2 of Akkineni Nagarjuna's hit TV show, "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu" (MEK 2), will go on air on Maa TV on Monday, 8 December.

The bosses of Maa TV confirmed the news about Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu 2 going on air on its official Facebook page. Besides posting the YouTube links of its promos, they wrote, "#MeeloEvaruKoteeswarudu Second Season... Starting Tonight at 9:30 PM on @MAATV."

The season 2 of "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu" will once again have Akkineni Nagarjuna as host. He made his debut on small screen with the first season of the show. On Monday morning, the actor-turned-host took to his Twitter page to share his excitement with his followers. He tweeted, "#mek2 I am back on air with mek2 this evening 930pm/super excited!!!!"

Maa TV chairman N Prasad is also ecstatic about "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu". "We are always in the forefront in offering vibrant, innovative and qualitative programmes. MEK is an incredible life changing game show and a testimony to the abilities of Maa TV in creating a positive social impact by rewarding knowledge," IBN Live quotes him as saying.

"Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu" changed the lives of some participants in the previous edition and also gave hope to many viewers to relive their lives. Talking about the re-launch of the show, N Prasad told Hindu, "It's a life changing game show and a testimony to the abilities of Maa TV in creating a positive social impact by rewarding knowledge."

Where to watch it live?

"Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu 2" will be aired on Maa TV at 9.30pm from Monday to Friday. The TV channel kick-started the registration process on 9 October, which ended on October

11. Around 34.50 lakh viewers took part in this process by answering the on-air question through SMS or by calling an IVR number.

"For the latest series, the channel has shortlisted eligible participants. Maa TV has conducted a rigorous process of selection to shortlist the participants eligible to come to the hot seat out of the 34.50 lakh responses. Each hot seat contestant can win prize money of up to Rs. 1 crore," reports IBN Live.
