Shailaja Reddy Alludu theatrical trailer
Shailaja Reddy Alludu starring Naga Chaitanya and Anu Emmanuel as the lead pair. Here is the review of the movie which hit the screens today.

Director Maruthi Dasari who has entertained the audience with his movies Bhale Bhale Magadivoy and Mahanubhavudu has directed Akkineni Naga Chaitanya for the first time.

Naga Chaitanya, being in a dire need for a decent hit appears in a stylish and practical role in this movie. Touted to be a family entertainer, Shailaja Reddy Alludu also stars Anu Emmanuel, Naresh, Ramya Krishnan, Vennela Kishore, and Prudhvi.

Bankrolled under Sithara Entertainments, the movie is produced by S Radha Krishna, Naga Vamsi, and PDV Prasad.

Shailaja Reddy Alludu Story: Chaithu is a cool and practical guy, whose father is a huge business magnet. Chaithu has a cool and practical mentality, unlike his father who is an absolute egoist.

Chaithu falls for a girl named Anu and tries to impress her. Being a narcissist, Anu is seen being stubborn in the start but falls for Chaithu later.

Chaithu's father being an egocentric person doesn't care to wait for Anu's parents to respond, before he gets his son engaged with Anu.

Anu's mother Shailaja Reddy, on the other hand, is a bigger narcissist who is seen in a commendable position in Warangal area.

Chaithu soon learns about the ego clashes between the mom-daughter duo. How he cope up to save his love relationship in between three egocentric people is the rest of the story.

Analysis: A half-baked commercial cinema from the director. An old-age story being modified in a complicated narrative is Shailaja Reddy Alludu. No role is properly written with a poor take over the entertainment aspects. The family audience may enjoy the movie as it has hit the screens during the festival time.

Performances: Akkineni Naga Chaitanya appears very smart with a decent and well-built look, which is apt for the role in the movie. But, Naga Chaitanya needs to concentrate on the narrative of the movie hereafter.

The chemistry between Naga Chaithanya and Anu Emmanuel appeared rather artificial. Though it is a full-length role for Anu Emmanuel, it was not a quite significant one.

Ramya Krishnan steals the show as Shailaja Reddy. Her command over the role and the attitude has added to the milage of the story narration.
Vennela Kishore, Naresh, Prudhvi, and the other actors justified their roles well.

Technical: Shailaja Reddy Alludu had got decent production values. The rich capture of the lens, especially in the songs is to be appreciated.
The music by Gopi Sunder was not very impressive.

Shailaja Reddy Alludu Verdict: A decent family entertainment with its own flaws. Once watchable.
