Salman Khan cheered for brother Sohail Khan as he entered reality show 'The Alliance'. Sohail has entered the reality show on Prime Video as a wildcard contestant. Just like any doting brother, Salman shared the promo video of Sohail's entry into the show and wrote, "Best wishes, brother." Prior to Salman, sister Arpita Khan had also penned an emotional note for Sohail.

Arpita's post for Sohail

Arpita had taken to social media to say how she always took him for granted and now that he was in the show, she couldn't help but miss him. "Always took it for granted your one call away and then got lazy to make that calling only to realise I want to talk to you about so many things and for the past few days I haven't been able to call you miss you so much. Can't wait to watch you on the show. Shine on bhai we love you," she wrote.

Sohail had earlier spoken about how 'The Alliance' was different from 'Bigg Boss' hosted by Salman Khan. Many eyes were raised when Sohail agreed to be a part of 'The Alliance' but not of his own brother's show. Rationalising his stand, the 'Maine Dil Tujhko Diya' called both the shows "fundamentally different" from each other.

On not joining Bigg Boss

"I've seen what it takes, the energy, the drama, the emotional toll. And I always thought, 'That's his space, not mine'. Salman's show is about personalities, conflicts and emotions. But this one is fundamentally different. It's a game of the mind. Strategy. Outwitting people without them knowing they've been outwitted. That challenge appealed to me in a way nothing else has," he had told HT.

On Salim Khan's health scare

On the show, he also spoke about why he spends most of his time with his parents. He revealed that he believes that time is the most valuable thing one can give to their parents and thus he prefers spending all his time with them. He also spoke about almost losing father Salim Khan to health scare.

"My heart sank when doctors said you might lose him. My parents are my life," he said. The Alliance is hosted by Kunal Kemmu and has 16 contestants.
