Italian superbike manufacturer MV Agusta announced the launch of the limited edition F3 RC in India on October 6. The limited edition F3 RC has been priced at Rs 19.73 lakh (ex-showroom Pune).
The F3 RC, an AMG branded limited edition version of the highly popular superbike the F3-800 is now open for bookings in India. The company will bring only nine units of the F3 RC to India out of the 250 vehicles produced in the world and the allocated number of model are expected to reach the Indian shores by the end of October.
"We are excited to bring in the last nine AMG branded F3 800 RC's to India and have already received five confirmations of the same," said MV Agusta India Managing Director Ajinkya Firodia as quoted by Press Trust of India (PTI).
To be powered by a 798cc engine, which is tuned to pump in 148bhp of power, the limited edition F3 RC can attain a top speed of 269kmph. The motorcycle gets Reparto Corse graphics, autographed by the official riders Jules Cluzel and Lorenzo Zanetti. The F3 RC also sports AMG logo on the fairing.
MV Agusta entered India in partnership with the Pune-based Kinetic group in May 2016. The superbikes of the company are sold through its combined sales network, MotorRoyale. The company's current India portfolio includes six models—F4, F4 RR, F4 RS, F3, F3 RC and Brutale 1090. MV Agusta currently has showrooms in Pune and Ahmadabad and is expected to set up showrooms in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai soon.
