After unveiling Moto X Pure Edition aka Moto X Style more than a month ago, Motorola has finally begun advanced bookings in the US. It is expected to be made available in 55 countries, including the UK.
The Moto X Pure Edition (Moto X Style) is currently up for pre-orders on Motorola website. It will be available in the Fall of 2015 and the prices will start at $399.99.
The mobile phone maker claimed that Moto X Pure Edition is the fastest charging smartphone in the world, capable of charging 50 percent faster than the Samsung Galaxy S6. It also boasts of a camera with powerful sensor – 21 MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture and 5 MP front snapper.
The Moto X Pure Edition will have to take on devices like OnePlus 2 and Sony Xperia C5 Ultra. Priced at $329 for the 16 GB variant and $389 for the 64 GB version, the OnePlus 2 also comes with impressive specifications. The exact price of Xperia C5 Ultra in US is not known yet but it comes with TWD 11,900 price tag, which is around $370.
So, it is inevitable for Moto X Pure Edition to compete with OnePlus 2 and Sony Xperia C5 Ultra in the US market. Lets take a look at the specifications of the aforementioned devices and see what they have to offer:
