Motorola flagship smartphone Moto X is reported to set foot in the Indian market next week.

After tasting success with Moto G, Flipkart has once again partnered Motorola to launch the higher-end flagship smartphone Moto X in the subcontinent.

The company confirmed the news via Twitter that the Moto X (4G LTE enabled) will go on sale at the website and would reveal exclusive offers as well as availability details in couple of day's time. However, NDTV Gadgets, citing sources in the company has claimed that Moto X would be released probably on 19 March.

"The Moto X is coming soon... stay tuned for exclusive launch day offers!" Flipkart tweeted.

Last month, Motorola while attending Q & A session on Twitter had officially confirmed to launch Moto X in India and Australia in few weeks time, now with revelation from Flipkart, it seems like Moto X may debut next week.

Moto X was unveiled way back in August in USA last year; despite not boasting any top-of-the-line hardware inside, it received overwhelming response from critics and fans alike especially for its creative smart gesture-control features and Moto Maker customization feature which gave consumers an option to choose 2000 possible combinations.

Consumer could engrave personalized message on the phone's back panel, choose colours for phone's back panels as well as default wallpapers and many more options. This personalization option will not be available during the Indian launch, but Flipkart will be offering two 'wood panel' based variants along with standard 5 plastic color model.

Moto X's 'Touchless Control' is the stand-out feature which let's user to use voice-command to text message, email, set notifications/remainders, check game-scores and perform more operations using 'always-active' micro phone. He/she just need to say 'OK Google Now' to open the phone.

The phone also boasts of 'Quick-Capture' feature where in a user can launch the camera in a matter of few seconds just by flipping the device twice horizontally and start snapping pictures in less time.

Moto X sports a 4.7-inch HD (720p) AMOLED screen and packs Motorola X8 Mobile computing system architecture based 1.7GHz Qualcomm snapdragon dual-core processor, quad-core Adreno graphics engine, one natural language processor core, and contextual processor backed by 2GB RAM.

The Motorola phone houses 10.0-megapixel main camera (with 'Clear Pixel' (RGBC) sensor, LED flash support, full HD1080p video recording), a 2.0-megapixel rear camera with full HD video recording ability and a 2200 mAh which can provide back-up for close to 24 hours.
