Lenovo-owned Motorola has confirmed to release the budget Moto G4 smartphone in India on June 22. The new Motorola phone will go on sale exclusively on Amazon India, but price details of the device is still under wraps.

We have listed key features of the new Moto G4 to help consumer decide whether the smartphone is worthy or not.

Here are key facts you should know before you buy Moto G4:

Display:

Motorola's new Moto G4 sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with pixel density of 401 ppi (pixels per inch). Watching videos and playing graphics-rich games on this phone will be a delight for device owners.

Build quality:

Moto G comes with a plastic-based body but, sturdy metal-frame around the frame makes the device strong enough to survive the daily wear and tear and also withstand any accidental fall. It also boasts of water-repellent nano coating. This means the owners can operate the phone during the rain.

[Note: Moto G4 does not come with Ingress Protection (IP) certification. So, users are advised not to take the device for a dip in the swimming pool or any other water body]

Performance:

Moto G4 houses a 64-bit class Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor backed by Adreno 405 graphics engine, 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage.

Use of multi-core processor gives Moto G4 edge over rivals as it can work efficiently when numerous apps are opened simultaneously. Users can also play graphics-rich 3D games on Moto G4 with less lag.

It has to be noted that Moto G4 runs pure Android Marshmallow OS and does not come pre-loaded with any annoying custom applications. Device owners will find it easy to navigate through the phone.

Camera:

Motorola's new Moto G4 comes packed with a feature-rich 13MP camera with a dual LED flash, auto HDR, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus), full HD video recording ability and a 5MP camera with wide-angle lens.

Battery:

Moto G houses a 3,000mAh battery, which is enough the power the device for the whole day under mixed usage.

Another notable feature of the Moto G4 is that it comes with Turbo Charger, where in 15 minutes of charging is good enough to keep the phone running for 6 hours, the company claims.

Going by the specifications, Moto G4 is expected be priced under Rs.13,000 if not less. It will be competing with the popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Asus Zenfone Max (2016) and soon to be launched LeEco Le 2.
