After weeks of teasing, Lenovo-owned Motorola officially unveiled fourth generation Moto G smartphone series in New Delhi on Tuesday.

The new Motorola devices come in two variants -- Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4. The key differentiating factors between the two models is that the former houses fingerprint sensor on the home button and superior 16MP primary camera with laser autofocus on the back, whereas the latter features 13MP snapper on the back and it lacks biometric security sensor. Rest of specifications remain the same in the both the devices.

They sport a 5.5-inch full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 shield and run Android Marshmallow OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor, Adreno 405 graphics engine and a 3000mAh battery with Turbo charger, wherein 15 minutes of charging can keep the phone operational for 6 hours, Motorola claims.

The Moto G4 Plus will be made available in two variants — 2GB RAM+ 16GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage configurations for Rs. 13,499 and Rs. 14,999, respectively — via Amazon India at 12:00 a.m on Wednesday.

On the other hand, the Moto G4 comes with only 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory and will be released next month. The price details of the device will also be announced in June.
