The unprecedented success of "Baahubali" has given filmmakers the confidence to think big.

Until a few days ago, Vikram was a part of "Endhiran 2", but that is now a distant dream. The Times of India reports that a Bollywood superstar is being considered for the role. And the buzz is, Hrithik Roshan may have replaced the south star in the film.

Being made on a lavish budget of Rs 300 crore, the makers have reportedly approached Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. Directed by Shankar, the magnum opus will feature Rajnikanth in the lead.

"Endhiran 2" is a sequel to Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's blockbuster film "Endhiran" (2010). It's being said that Part 2 will go on floors next year for which the prep work is in progress.

However, since no official announcement has been made by the makers, this can at best be considered a mere speculation.

Interestingly, this isn't the first time Roshan's name has been associated with projects from down South. A few days ago, there were conjectures that the star, along with John Abraham, was approached for a lead role in SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali". Unfortunately, the actors didn't have any date to spare then.

In other news, Roshan hasn't spoken about being considered as the baddie in "Endhiran 2" and is busy hosting a show base on real-life incidents.
