South Korean boy group EXO, who entertained audiences with their spectacular performance on Friday night, took home three major trophies at the Mnet Asian Music Awards 2016. BLACKPINK, TWICE and BTS won two awards each on Friday night.
Album of the year award went to EXO, artists of the year went to BTS and TWICE took home song of the year award. NCT 127 and I.O.I took home the best new artist of the year awards, Zico won best male artist, while Taeyeon was announced as the winner of best female artist.
