
Music director MM Keeravaani said 2,500 artists from across India would perform Vande Matram on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of national song at an event to be held on January 26.
Elated MM Keeravaani took to his X account to share his excitement and wrote, "Dear all, Vande Mataram! On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the iconic song Vande Mataram, I feel deeply honoured and privileged to have composed the music for the 26th January Republic Day Parade, under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture."
The musician further revealed that the song would be performed by 2,500 artist from across the country. Keeravaani added, "This grand presentation will be performed by 2,500 artists from across India. Stay tuned as we come together to celebrate the spirit of our nation — Vande Mataram!"
Many of his fans are excited to watch him perform Vande Mataram. A fan named Shivram Krishna Singh replied to his post, "2,500 artists? The sheer acoustic energy of that is hard to imagine. However, the Indian Army Symphony Band will also perform the song Vande Mataram at Connaught Place, New Delhi, today from 03:00 PM. It will be a tribute to the song.
