The preliminary competition of the Miss Universe 2014 was held on Wednesday night (Thursday morning in India) in Miami.
All the 88 contestants walked the ramp in their stunning gowns, swimwear and national costumes during the preliminary competition.
The event started with all the contestants' introduction ceremony. The contestants were divided into small groups, after which they introduced themselves to the judges and the audiences.
The preliminary night was hosted by last year's winner Gabriela Isler and presenter Roxanne Vargas. The competition was judged by Azucena Cierco, President of Trump Models Corinne Nicolas, TV producer Jeneine Doucette-White, Jimmii Nguyen, TV host Lloyd Boston, former Miss Universe Michelle McLean and Tyler Tixier.
Among the 88 contestants judges will decide the top 15 finalists for the grand finale. The preliminary score card will be revealed on grand finale night, which will take place on 25 January in Miami.
