Mikayla Demaiter is setting pulses racing with her social media snaps. In fact, she has reportedly been called the "world's sexiest ice hockey goalkeeper." One look at her social media and it isn't hard to see why.

The athlete is quite active on social media, teasing her fans with sizzling snaps. Reportedly Demaiter, from Chatham in Ontario, plays for the Bluewater Hawks in the Provincial Women's Hockey League. Like all hockey players, The 19-year-old has to keep herself covered from head to toe in protective clothing when she is on the ice. But on her Instagram, she sheds her protective gear and opts for scanty swimwear. This choice of clothing has gained her a following of nearly 12,000 followers. The hockey player sure knows how to work the camera. She sends her fans into a tizzy with her naughty snaps.

Her career as an athlete has just begun, but it looks like Mikayla already wants to branch out. Could it be that Mikayla is interested in becoming a social media influencer? However, she also posts action shots of herself in the rink. These posts don't seem to gather as much attention. We have to say, Mikayla needs to pick an angle which works for her and we don't mean the photographic one. 

The athlete is trying to juggle both sides of her life in one account, which does seem reasonable, but may not give her the results she desires. Mikayla may have a tough task ahead of her. Pulling off the balancing act of portraying herself as a serious athlete with a fun and sexy side might be difficult.

But if she can garner attention for her sultry snaps and make those fans stay for her prowess in the rink. Then she will achieve another level of success, which may very well launch her career into a whole other level. A marketable face. Isn't that what all athletes desire?
