Snapshots of the long-rumoured Microsoft Lumia 535 has surfaced online ahead of the launch next week.

Leaked photos of Microsoft-branded smartphone, understood to be the Lumia 535 made an appearance on the Chinese social network Baidu.

In the pictures (courtesy, Windows Central), we see a green-hued Lumia phone with Microsoft embellishment on front (top) and on the rear-side (placed horizontal with trademark Windows tiles) below the LED based camera. We also see the speaker grill at the bottom (on the rear-side).

Notably, we see no sign of Nokia branding on all sides of the device, thus giving impetus to the rumour that this smartphone might indeed be the Lumia 535, Microsoft's first non-Nokia phone.

This revelation comes just days after Microsoft officially confirmed to launch a new Lumia device next week (on 11 November). Many Microsoft fans were hoping for a big flagship phone, but later The Verge, citing company insiders revealed that the upcoming device is a budget smartphone, most probably the Lumia 535, successor to Lumia 530, which was launched in late July this year.

It is said Lumia 535 will sport a 5.0qHD (960x540p) display and run on latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS, 1.2GHz snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory, 5mp rear-side camera and 0.3-megapixel (VGA) camera on the front. This is an improvement over the predecessor, where in selfie-fans sorely missed the front-camera in the Lumia 530.
