American smartphone maker, Motorola Mobility (now a subsidiary of Lenovo) has released more Moto 360 variants in the USA.

"We're introducing more choice for Moto 360. From new metal watches and a selection of interchangeable bands, to enhanced experiences that promote a healthier lifestyle, Moto 360 offers a diverse portfolio of modern timepieces," said the company.

As of now, the new Moto 360 with light and dark metal (aircraft-grade stainless steel) bands has been made available from 6 November on Motorola website for $299 (around €242/₹18,400). The company has also announced that another light metal variant and a new Champagne Gold model will be released this holiday season for $299 (around €242/₹18,400) and $329 (around €266/₹20,250) respectively.

Besides the light-metal bands, Moto 360 owners will also be able to choose new interchangeable stone, black and cognac leather bands. As a part of the Motorola M4De program, the company has also joined hands with multiple custom-accessories makers like- DODOcase to bring out stitched leather options in four new colours, whereas TYLT is working on to release colourful silicone based bands.

The company also announced that Moto Body, a fitness app update will soon be rolled-out. This app will let users to track steps, distance, heart rate and calories. Based on the information collected, Moto Body will provide new goals to keep the user motivated.

Moto Body will be made available to all Moto 360 users through the Motorola Connect app update.

A couple of weeks ago, Motorola had released Android wear update bringing in features such as smart battery saving, timely time checks, mood lighting, enhanced Bluetooth pairing feature, bug fixes and user-interface tweaks. [For more information, read this IBTimes India report]

For the uninitiated, Moto 360 boasts of 1.5-inch backlit LCD display panel protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and inside it comes packed with pedometer, optical heart rate monitor (PPG).

Other value-added features include IP67 water-resistant certifications, dual microphones to receive voice-commands and Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy for pairing Android companion devices.
