The India smartphone market has been flooded with mid-ranged devices priced around ₹10,000. Big screen devices like Micromax Yu Yureka and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G are currently ruling the market, and Huawei Honor 4X will join the fray soon. 

Huawei Honor 4X was unveiled in India recently and is currently open for registration.

It will be sold exclusively on Flipkart and will follow flash sale marketing strategy like Micromax Yu Yureka, Xiaomi devices, Lenovo A6000 and others.

Priced at ₹10, 499, the smartphone will be up for pre-order till 29 March midnight and sales will open at 2.00PM on 30 March.

Huawei Honor 4X

The device sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 720 x 1280 pixels (267 ppi pixel density), powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Emotion 3.0 UI. It comes packed with 8 GB internal memory, 2 GB RAM and microSD up to 32 GB, 13 MP main camera and 5 MP front snapper, and Li-Po 3000 mAh battery. It has a price tag of ₹10499.

Micromax Yu Yureka

The device sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 720x1280 pixels (267ppi pixel density), powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, and runs on CyanogenMod Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The smartphone also has features such as 16 GB internal memory, 2 GB RAM, microSD slot up to 32GB, 13MP main camera and 5MP front snapper, and a 2500 mAh (Lithium-Polymer) battery. It has a price tag of ₹8,999.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G

The big screen device sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixels (267 ppi pixel density). It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean (upgradable to Android 4.4.2 KitKat) with MIUI 5.0, and comes packed with an 8 GB internal memory, 2 GB RAM and microSD up to 64 GB. It also has a 13MP main camera and 5MP front snapper, and a 3100 mAh (Li-Ion Polymer) battery. It has a price tag of ₹9,999.

Verdict

The devices share similar features like 5.5-inch display, 267ppi screen resolution and camera pixel. Yu Yureka has better processor and more internal memory while Honor 4X and Redmi Note 4G have Emotion 3.0 UI and MIUI 5.0 respectively, making their software stable. Redmi Note 4G has a 3100 mAh compared toHonor 4X's 3000 mAh and Yu Yureka's 2500 mAh battery.
