Micromax's sub-brand YU is all geared to kick off 13th edition of the Yureka flash sale on 9 April.

The company's e-commerce affiliate Amazon India has confirmed to hold the YU Yureka sale on Thursday 2pm [Here], but the details regarding the number of units available on sale is still under wraps. We will update more details as it develops.

As of now Micromax YU is busy with the promotional campaign on its upcoming Project Caesar.

Early this week, YU picked up the top five names, Yuknight, Yunicorn, Yuphoria, Yunity and Youth, among one lakh entries. And after three days of online voting, the company is ready with the winning name.

On Wednesday, 8 April, the company concluded the online voting phase to pick up the final name of the new handset.

It released series of eight hints on Twitter network for fans to predict the name of the YU's new smartphone and going by the numerous messages, it looked like Yuknight might win the battle, but the company made a surprise declaration that Yuphoria will be the name of the new smartphone.

Coming back to the main topic in hand, we would like to remind our readers that prospective consumers should get registered to become eligible to buy the YU Yureka. If the user has already got registered for previous flash sales, they need not re-apply; they will be put into the waiting list. They can directly try ordering the handset on 9 April.
