Micromax has expanded its Canvas portfolio once again with yet another smartphone dubbed A110Q Canvas 2 Plus.

The new smartphone made its debut on the company's official website on Wednesday with a price tag of ₹12,100. It packs a 5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MT6589 processor and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

Other specifications include 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 2000mAh battery and connectivity features like GSM, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and USB 2.0.

The device supports audio/video formats like MP3, MIDI, AAC, MP4, MKV, 3GP and many more. It comes with preinstalled M!Live app which would allow users to download unlimited songs. According to early reviews, the handset bears the same design as that of any other Micromax phone.

Micromax, the Indian brand that shot to fame after the mega success of A116 Canvas HD smartphone, has rolled out a number of devices under the Canvas series. The company launched its first the 3D smartphone, A115 Canvas, in the market recently. The device features a 5-inch touch screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and a 5-megapixel camera.
