Smartphone leader Samsung is reportedly planning to release the new Galaxy A series metal-clad handsets in India.

Mumbai-based smartphone vendor Mahesh Telecom has claimed that Samsung's Galaxy A5 and A3 will hit Indian stores soon.

Company's proprietor, Manish Khatri (via Twitter) has posted a few snapshots of the Samsung devices confirming that the shipments have already arrived in India.

However, he has refrained from revealing the price and availability details of devices, probably waiting for Samsung to officially announce the new Galaxy A series in India.

Both Galaxy A5 and A3 were originally unveiled in late October and now finally they will soon set foot in the subcontinent.

The new Galaxy A5 boasts unibody design with metal frame around the corners and flaunts 5.0-inch HD (1,280x720p) super AMOLED screen.

Under the hood, it houses 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 64GB), 13mp camera, 5mp snapper on the front and 2,300mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving Mode.

On the other hand, Galaxy A3 is a watered-down version of A5. It features 4.5-inch qHD (540x960p) super AMOLED display with Adaptive display technology and run on Android 4.4 KitKat, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 64GB), 8mp camera, 5mpl front camera and 1,900mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving Mode.
