Meghan Markle has headed to California to meet her mother Doria Ragland and her close friends —sans husband Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex has not visited the US ever since her engagement to Prince Harry.

There are reports that the former actress wishes to see her family and friends before becoming a mother. Now the big question here is will Meghan visit her ailing father Thomas Markle?

Though Meghan is just miles away from her father, who lives in Rosarito, Mexico, it looks like a reconciliation is not on the cards for the former actress. Markle Sr is said to be in apparent distress due to his growing distance between the Duchess of Sussex but that hasn't stopped him from giving bombshell interviews to media. He hasn't met his daughter and son-in-law Harry ever since their royal wedding in May.

However, royal sources believe that the 'Suit' actress might take some step in healing the rift within the family. After all, Meghan has been on extremely high stress these days after back-to-back dramas from her father and half-sister. A resolution is the definite need of the hour but on the other side, the Markles are making things more complicated with their rants on media.

According to Meghan's friend, the former actress doesn't share a great rapport with her father and things were not good even before her wedding. The problem apparently began even before she met Harry. On the contrary, royal sources believe that Meghan wants to speak to her father and end the ongoing spat between them. But both the Duke and Duchess fear that any contact between them will be shared with millions.

Markle Sr's repeated media interviews have put the Sussexes in deep worry—indeed an embarrassment for the new royal couple.
