Akkineni Nagarjuna's hit quiz TV show "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu 3" (MEK 3) will witness its participants Uma and her son Aditya answering a question worth of Rs. 1 crore on Sunday night.
Uma and Aditya managed to make it to "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu 3" by clearing all the primary rounds. The bosses of MAA TV hinted at their successful journey on its official Twitter account on April 20. They tweeted: "1 Crore Question in #MeeloEvaruKoteeswarudu with @iamnagarjuna ..This Sat & Sun at 9 PM #MEK ... Don't Miss It. [sic]"
Uma and her son Aditya answered nine questions and won Rs. 1.60 lakh in the Friday episode of "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu 3." They managed to answer another five questions right in the 14th episode aired on Maa TV on Saturday night. This episode ended with Nagarjuna handing over a cheque worth Rs. 50 lakh to them. Uma and Aditya, who hail from Vizag, are the second participants to win Rs. 50 lakh in MEK 3. "Only two contestants have won Rs. 50 lakh in this season of 'Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu' and you are one of the two. Interestingly, the first contestant — Amarnath — was also from Vizag," Nagarjuna said at the end of the episode aired on Saturday night.
"'Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu' has completed a total of 151 episodes in three seasons. This is the 51st episode of the third season.
Uma and Aditya are now both anxious, added the MEK 3 host laughingly, before handing over the cheque worth Rs. 50 lakh to them.
The Sunday episode of "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu 3" shows the mother-son duo answering the 15th question worth Rs 1 crore on the show.
