Sheik Sai Babji, the headmaster of a primary school in Rajahmundry, walked away with ₹3.20 lakh on reality TV show "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu 2" (MEK2), besides winning the heart of host Akkineni Nagarjuna.

Day 2 of "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu 2" witnessed the first contest Srinivasulu, a police officer from Kurnool, quitting the game after he could not answer the 13th question worth ₹25 lakh. Nagarjuna presented him with a cheque of ₹12.50 lakh and bid him goodbye. Later, he went on to choose the second contestant of the season through Fastest Finger First.

Sheik Sai Babji became the second contestant beating eight other participants on Fastest Finger First and graced the hot seat before host Nagarjuna. Surprisingly, the headmaster used two lifelines to answer second and third questions and third lifeline to answer eighth question. Later, he answered two other questions and got the first cheque worth ₹3.20 lakh.

The headmaster was just five questions away from ₹1 crore, but he failed to answer 11th question and walked out of the show with a cheque of ₹3.20 lakh. He was evidently very excited and wanted to talk a lot about his skills. He also sang a couple of songs and made viewers laugh and cry with his emotional words.

At times, Nagarjuna wanted him to stop talking and concentrate on the play, but the headmaster said: "My intention to appear on 'Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu 2' is not to win money, but talk about so many things and show my skills here."

Sheik Sai Babji plans to use the amount he won for an old-age home in Rajahmundry. Before bidding goodbye to the show, he presented a photo frame as gift to Nagarjuna. The frame featured a poem on the actor-turned-host written by himself and few photos from his hit movies.
