With the competition moving into the business end, match number 47 of IPL 2015 might prove to be a humdinger with two consistent teams of the season, Chennai Super Kings(CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR), locking horns at MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday.

CSK are currently ranked second with 14 points from 11 games, while RR have 14 from 12 games. Hence, the winner of tonight's clash will topple over Kolkata Knight Riders from their number one position in the standings table.

Both teams will come out on Sunday to prove their mettle as CSK and RR have an identical record in their last three matches winning one and losing two.

Both teams consist players, who have been consistent over the course of IPL 2015 and here is a look at those stars, who could create havoc with their performances at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Rajasthan Royals

Ajinkya Rahane: The RR opener has been leading the team from the front with his batting heroics as he has scored 438 runs so far. He is the current Orange Cap holder as well. Rahane is one player, who is pleasing to the eye as he caresses the ball and times the ball to perfection to get maximum runs. With players such as Steve Smith, Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson to bat in the middle overs, he has provided them with a perfect platform to fire in the latter overs of the game.

Shane Watson: After missing out on RR's first few games, the skipper has looked impressive with both the bat and ball in hand. Though, he has not looked at his fluent best, the all-rounder has scored 205 runs and taken four wickets so far. It is his all-round ability, which makes him a dangerous IPL player. With the Aussie known for his batting heroics more, he is due for a big score and it will be perfect timing for the Australian to turn up with the bat tonight as the playoffs are inching closer.

Chennai Super Kings

Brendon McCullum: The New Zealand skipper knows only form of defense, which is to attack and when the batsman starts to strike the ball long and hard, the fielders only fetch the ball from the bounday line. The right hander has all the shots in the book to threaten opponents. The batsman has hit 42 fours and 19 sixes and amassed 338 runs so far. If the batsman stays at the batting crease for around 10 overs, expect CSK to be in the driver's seat.

Ashish Nehra: With a best bowling figure of four wickets for 10 runs, the Indian bowler has been mighty impressive, especially with the new ball, as he has swung it both ways. MS Dhoni will be asking his bowling spearhead to dislodge both the RR openers and provide early in-roads. One can expect him to deliver with the form he has shown in this IPL, taking 17 wickets so far. He has used his experience of the past to good effect this season.
