India's largest car manufacturer by volume, Maruti Suzuki, has reinforced its supremacy in passenger vehicle sales, as is evident from the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM)'s list of the top 10 best passenger vehicles in December 2015.

Maruti Suzuki sealed top four spots, and in total, six of its cars have made to the list. Hyundai Motor India Limited is second in the list with two of its cars on it. Mahindra and Renault occupied the other two slots in the top-10 list.

Maruti Suzuki's bestseller, the Alto hatchback, reached to the numero uno position with the sale of 22,589 units in December 2015. This is an improvement from the 22,296 units of Altos sold in December 2014. The WagonR hatchback is at the second spot with 14,645 units sold, against 12,329 units in the same period last year. Maruti Suzuki sold 14,548 units of the Swift to seal the third spot. However, the Swift's sale saw a decline from the 17,410 units in December 2014.
