A fully disguised test mule of the Tata Motors' upcoming hatchback Kite has been caught on camera yet again, this time offering a peak at the interior of the car.

Although the test mule in the latest set of pictures is seen clad in heavy camouflage, it is not difficult to discern that the car has taken design cues from Tata's Indica and upcoming Bolt hatchback. And most importantly, the pictures by Cartoq also reveal the interior of the Tata Kite for the first tme.

Tata Kite, an upcoming Maruti Celerio killer is likely to see the light of the day only next year. Although the company is still silent on the details and pricing of the car, rumours are rife that Tata is likely to price the new hatchback in the range of ₹4 lakh. Besides Celerio, Tata Kite will also be fighting out with Honda Brio and Hyundai Grand i10 in India once it hits the market.

Previous reports have indicated that  Tata's Kite hatchback will be based on Tata's XO platform and will be manufactured at the company's Sanand plant in Gujarat. Under the bonnet, the car is likely to pack turbo petrol and diesel engines and rumours also indicate the integration of F-Tronic AMT gearbox. However, nothing concrete has been said till now.

Tata Motors is also expected to launch its first AMT sedan Zest in August. Zest will be powered by a 1.3 litre Quadrajet motor, producing 90 PS power at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm torque at 1,750-3,000 rpm and 1.2 litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged Revotron engine, which can churn out a power of 85 PS at 5,000 rpm and a peak torque of 140 Nm at 1,750-3,000 rpm.

The launch of Zest will be followed by Bolt hatchback in the country. The petrol version of Bolt will come with 1.2 liter Revotron turbo petrol engine, which can churn out a power of 84 bhp at 5,000 rpm and a torque of 140 Nm at 1,750-3,500 rpm, and the diesel version will pack 1.3 liter Multijet diesel motor.
