Marakathamani movie review by audience: Live update

Director ARK Saravan's Telugu movie Markathamani (also spelled as Marakatha Mani/Markatamani) starring Aadhi Pinisetty and Nikki Galrani has received positive reviews from the audience.

Markathamani is an adventurous fantasy comedy thriller movie. It is the dubbed version of the Tamil film, Maragatha Naanayam. The movie revolves around the heist of a huge and ancestral diamond called Markatamani. Director ARK Saravan has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film, which has been produced by G Dillibabu under the banner Axess Film Factory.

The film narrates the story of Hero Aadi, a small time smuggler who wants to conduct a big robbery to repay his loans. He falls in love with Nikki Garlani. Along with his team, the hero decides to steal the ancestral diamond, Markatamani. What are challenges faced by him? Will he be able to steal the diamond? Answers to these questions form the crux of the story of Markathamani.

Viewers say that Markathamani deals with a tried and tested story. But the director has given it a different touch by clubbing many genres like adventure, fantasy, comedy and thriller. Some horror comedy scenes keep the viewers engaged in the first half, which ends with an interesting twist at the interval. The director makes sure he holds viewers stay glued to their seats with interesting twists in the second half too.

Aadhi Pinisetty has done justice to his role and his performance is the highlight of Markathamani. Nikki Galrani's role holds some suspense and adds an important value to the script. She has also done her best and is sure to steal the show. Anandaraj, Ramdoss, Danie, Mime Gopi, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Arunraja Kamaraj and MS Baskar's performances are also assets of the movie, say viewers.
