The makers of Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu have reportedly secured a court order to disable ratings and reviews on the ticketing portals like BookMyShow.
BookMyShow offers an opportunity to its viewers to rate and review a movie after watching it. But this option was misused to spread fake review and ratings. This happened mostly when two big ticket movies were released. Films were targeted with fake ratings on Book My Show using bots. The rivals used to indulge in this ugly practices to bring down other films.
Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu is releasing in theatres three days after The Raja Saab hit the screens. Chances are high of spreading negativity by Prabhas fans. Keep the same in mind. The team has now secured a court order to combat the online negativity. As per the order, ratings and reviews are disabled on the ticketing portal.
This initiative acts as a shield against bot-driven fake ratings. Idlebrain Jeevi posted on his X account, "A Ground-Breaking FIRST for TFI A bold and historic move by BlockBIGG & Aiplex to protect cinema from digital manipulation."
Jeevi added, "To prevent orchestrated Negative down-ranking and malicious Reviews, ratings & reviews have been legally restricted on ticketing platforms for #ManaSankaraVaraPrasadGaru through Court Orders."
