Chiranjeevi's Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu (MSVG) has once again taken the box office by storm on Tuesday, with its two-day collection crossing the Rs 120 crore mark worldwide.
Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu opened to a fantastic response and collected Rs 84 crore gross at the worldwide box office on the first day. The movie became the biggest opener for Chiranjeevi, beating his previous record of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which minted Rs 81 crore.
On its second day, the Chiranjeevi starrer clashed with Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, which was released in the theaters on January 13. The shows of Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu were reduced by the latter, which also took a toll on its collection by becoming the first choice for the audience.
But a strong word of mouth helped Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu to do well at the ticket counters. According to the reports, the movie registered an average of 50 percent occupancy in cinema halls. The film collected Rs 36 crore gross at the worldwide box office on Tuesday, taking its two-day total to Rs 120 crore gross in the global market.

On its third day, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu is clashing with another movie titled Anaganaga Oka Raju, which has the count of its shows. Its collection would be affected by this new release further on Wednesday. It should be seen whether word of mouth would help it fare better or not.
Made on a whopping budget, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu fetched Rs 110 crore for its producers through the sale of its theatrical rights. The movie has reportedly earned Rs 60 crore for its distributors in two days. The film is expected to become a blockbuster success for them. The makers held a success party for their team on Tuesday.
