Competition is expected to heighten in Malayalam cinema with release of Dileep - Nikki Galrani movie "Ivan Maryadharaman"Facebook

As festive season of Easter and Vishu is here, Malayalam film industry is gaining back its momentum. The industry which witnessed less activity in the first three months of 2015 is now celebrating the success of movies like "100 Days of Love", "Oru Vadakkan Selfie" and "Ennum Eppozhum".

The positive atmosphere which currently exists in the industry is expected to reach the peak with the release of Dileep's movie "Ivan Maryadharaman" on 4 April. Meanwhile, industry experts believe that the release of Dileep's flick will also make the competition tougher at the box office among the summer releases.

Though Dileep had a tough run in his last two releases, "Villali Veeran" and "Avatharam", "Janapriyanayagan" is expected to repeat the success of his last summer release "Ring Master" in the box office. The strong foothold which the actor has among family audience is expected to help the movie during the vacation season.

The trailer and songs of "Ivan Maryadharaman" has already created a huge buzz. The movie is also one of the most expensive movies of his career and the makers believe that the flick has correct flavour of comedy, romance and action to make it a huge success.

"Ivan Maryadharaman", directed by Suresh Diwakar, is the remake of 2010 Telugu blockbuster film "Maryada Ramanna", which was directed by SS Rajamouli.

Scripted by hit pair Uday Krishna and Siby K Thomas, "Ivan Maryadharaman" has star cast of Nikki Galrani, Radhika Sarathkumar, Abu Salim, Kailash, Saju Navodaya, Tara Kalyan and Nagineedu.

Meanwhile, "100 Days of Love" starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen is continuing its success run in its second week. "Oru Vadakkan Selfie" starring Nivin Pauly, Aju Varghese, Manjima Mohan and Vineeth Sreenivasan has got an overwhelming start in its first weekend and reports are that some theatres are offering some extra screenings for the flick. "Ennum Eppozhum" starring Mohanlal and Manju Warrier has also managed to woo the audience.

Whether 'Ivan Maryadharaman" will hinder the smooth run of these flicks in the box office is something which both audience and industry experts are waiting to see.
