It appears like the launch of Mahindra's new S101 mini-SUV has almost been confirmed as the latest reports on the web indicate that the model is likely to make its debut at the upcoming Auto Expo 2016.

A report of Oncars.in states that Mahindra S101, the model which is currently undergoing test runs in the country, is likely to be premiered at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi, which will begin in February.

Caught on camera countless times, Mahindra S101, the sub-4-metre micro-SUV, is expected to rival Maruti Suzuki WagonR, upcoming Tata Kite and Datsun Redi-Go. Under the hood, expect Mahindra S101 to include 1.2 diesel and petrol mills.

Inside the cabin, the pictures show piano black accent for centre console and chrome touch around the centre console, AC vents and on the steering wheel. A small display placed on top can also be seen. The gear-lever is mounted on the dashboard and door panels get silver and piano black accents.

Built on an all-new monocoque platform, S101 is expected to get a price tag of around Rs 5 lakh.
