A fresh batch of images of Mahindra's upcoming small SUV S101 has hit the web, revealing many new details about the interior of the model.

Snapped by the good chaps at Motor Trend, the interior of Mahindra S101 looks modern with dual-tone cabin, a three-spoke steering wheel, multimedia system with touch screen and faux wood inserts on door panels.

S101, the six-seater model shows 3+3 seating configuration with foldable seat at the front. The model seems to have missed out on features like rear AC vent. Under the hood, S101 is expected to pack 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 5-speed manual transmission. The model could also get AMT variant in India.

Mahindra S101 is likely to reach the showrooms by the end of this year after the launch of the company's TUV300. Mahindra TUV300 is scheduled for a launch on 10 September. The new TUV300, which has been designed with the help of design firm Pininfarnia, will get mHawk80 engine under the hood. TUV300 is likely to include features like infotainment system with touchscreen and three-spoke steering wheel, flat-roof, exposed spare wheel and short overhangs.
