Mahindra's upcoming compact SUV S101 has been spied testing once again, in what appears to be its early production body, revealing more details of the interior of the vehicle.

This time the SUV was snapped by MotorBeam and the latest images show the front seating layout of the S101.There have been reports earlier that Mahindra S101 would get a three-seater front bench and with the latest spy shots this seems confirmed.

The new SUV offering of Mahindra also appears to accommodate features like mounted multifunction controls, automatic climate control, Airbags and a new infotainment system.

Like before, the latest test mule is also seen hiding under heavy camouflage, thus keeping the exterior styling details of the car under wraps.

It is believed that the SUV will get power from Mahindra's newly developed 1.2 litre petrol engine, which is expected to churn out 80bhp. Mahindra is developing seven new engines, which includes 1.2 litre diesel and petrol motors, 1.6 litre diesel and petrol units, and a 1.5-litre diesel and there is also 1.5 litre petrol and a 1.0-litre petrol engine to power its future vehicles.

Other speculated features include anti-lock braking system, electronic brake-force distribution, four airbags and electronic stability programme. Other details of the SUV are still to come, however there have been rumours that the Mahindra S101 will fall in the price range of the range of ₹5-7 lakh.

Mahindra S101would be a sub-four metre vehicle, and when launched will challenge Ford EcoSport and upcoming Volkswagen Taigun in India.

Mahindra is also readying its new generation Bolero, which is also likely to get engines from new line-up. Inside the cabin, it is expected to get larger screen infotainment system, newly styled dashboard with a new central console, a new three spoke steering wheel and rectangular AC vents.
