It is not a secret that Mahindra and Mahindra is working on the four-door version of its small electric hatchback Reva e2o. Now, a prototype of this Reva e2o four-door model has been snapped probably for the first time in Bangalore while it was undergoing it test runs on Bangalore-Hosur highway.

In the images, as expected, Mahindra Reva e2o was seen hiding under significant amount of camouflage, but the rear door handles are enough to indicate that it is the four-door version of the model. Caught on camera by Team BHP, the new version of Mahindra Reva e2o said to be the same as the current model in terms of proportions but with elongated rear end it seems to have got restyled tail light and rear bumper.

Mahindra, which is primarily targeting the export markets like Europe with four-door Reva e2o, could also sell a limited number of the model in India. Chances are Mahindra will debut the new version of Reva e2o at the upcoming Auto Expo, 2016.

Mahindra Reva e2o is powered by an electric motor that is driven by 48-volt lithium-ion batteries, which can generate 19 kW of power @ 3,750 RPM and 53.9 Nm of torque @ 0-3,000 RPM. Manufactured at the company's Bangalore plant, Reva e2o has a top speed of 81kmph.
