The launch date of Mahindra's upcoming mini-SUV codenamed S101 is yet to be revealed, but we have already seen the car in various states through spy shots and leaked images. Now, to add to the long list of spy shots, a fresh batch of spy shots of S101 has hit the web. And this time, the micro-SUV was caught on camera during a photoshoot.

In the latest set of images shared by Indian Autos Blog, the S101 -- which is supposedly monikered XUV100 -- is seen virtually in its undisguised form. The images, which are believed to have been taken at Carter Road, Bandra, in Mumbai show an orange painted S101. The rear end of the S101 is seen clearly in the picture with wraparound taillamps and rear wiper.

Built on an all-new monocoque platform, Mahindra S101 -- a mini-SUV to compete with Maruti's tall-boy WagonR  -- is expected to make its India debut in January 2016 before the Auto Expo.

Under the hood, the S101 is expected to include 1.2-litre diesel and petrol mills. While the petrol mill of the Mahindra S101 is likely to be an all-new engine developed by the company, the diesel mill could be the watered-down version of 1.5-litre mHawk engine.
