Mahindra Two Wheelers (MTW) launched a special edition of Centuro motorcycle christened as Mirzya on Thursday, September 22. The special edition has been launched as part of the association with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's upcoming Bollywood movie Mirzya staring Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher.
The special edition comes with cosmetic add-ons such special decals and Mirzya badging in golden colour. Centuro is powered by 106.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, MCI-5, 4-stroke petrol engine, which can dish out 8.5PS of power at 7500rpm and 8.5Nm of torque at 5500rpm with four-speed gearbox. The motorcycle also features remote flip key, guide lights and find me lamps, and anti-theft alarm.
"We are delighted to offer a really distinctive and stylish looking Mahindra Mirzya edition to celebrate our association with the movie Mirzya," said Vinod Sahay, Chief Executive Officer, Mahindra Two Wheelers in a statement.
"We are confident that like the film, Mahindra Mirzya will become a rage in the upcoming festive season," he added.
Mirzya is a modern day love story based on the historical Punjabi folklore legend of Mirza-Sahiban, one of the popular iconic romances which has been passed on from generation to generation. "We are heartened that Mahindra Two Wheelers has decided to introduce a special edition to celebrate the film release," Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, director of Mirzya said.
