Lodgy, the French maker's answer to Honda Mobilio has been testing on Indian roads for quite a while now. Renault is expected to launch both Lodgy and its top-end version Stepway in India together.

The model that is coming to India is expected to flaunt a similar design and style like that of its European counterpart. The Stepway variant of Lodgy is expected to pack in features like skid-plates at the front and rear end, side body cladding , rear parking sensors and chrome grille with the 'Logdy' badging. As for the features, Lodgy is expected to get touchscreen infotainment system, three-spoke steering wheel, dual-tone dashboard and centre armrest for rear passengers.

Under the hood, from what we have heard so far, Renault Lodgy MPV is likely to get power from 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine in two states of tune -- 85PS and 110PS.

Apparently, a variant with 1.6-litre petrol engine of the Duster is also making its way to the Indian market.

The MPV, which is getting ready to be manufactured at Renault-Nissan plant in Oragadam, Chennai, is likely to get a price tag in the range of ₹8- ₹11 lakh in India.
