Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna's wife, Akanksha Chamola, is grabbing headlines for her bold and fearless revelations on Lock Upp Season 2. The actor is one of the contestants on the reality show, whose format is different from others as inmates must reveal a secret about a fellow contestant to keep themselves safe.
In the latest episode, fellow contestant Shreya Kalra exposed Akanksha's secret, costing her one lifeline in the game.
Shreya revealed that Akanksha is bisexual. Akanksha was left shocked that Shreya chose to disclose such a personal aspect of her life on national television. After being saved in the latest episode, Akanksha did not hold back and confronted Shreya over the revelation.
Following the disclosure, Akanksha confirmed that the secret was true. She also shared that she is getting divorced and revealed that she is bisexual, adding that she had relationships with women before marrying Gaurav Khanna.
During the latest episode, Akanksha confronted Shreya after learning that she was the one who had revealed her secret to the house.
Akansha broke down and said, "Main shaadi se pehle bisexual thi. Mere relations rahey hain kuch ladkiyo ke saath. Bohot zyaada intimate relations nahi rahe hain but I have been in relations with a few females (I was bisexual before marriage. I have been in relations with females, but they were not intimate)."
She further explained that she feels more comfortable around women and thrives in their company.
"Mujhe ladkiya pasand hain. Main admire karti hoon, main attract hoti hoon unke taraf. I think mera woh safe space hain. Growing up, mujhe lagta hain ki its a very male-dominated world toh humesha aap mummy, beheno ke taraf jaate ho... kahi na kahi jo comfort zone unse milta hain. I love that feminine energy, I love that comfort and thrive in that. Aise society mein rehte hain jaha log bolte hain ki ladkiya dost nahi rah sakti jealousy hota hain ya competition hota hain. Mere mein woh sab nahi tha, mere liye all females are beautiful. It's a tag that society has given, for me it's pure love (I love women, I admire and am attracted to them. They are my safe space. Growing up, I used to feel that it is a male dominated world and hence one always tends to get closer to their mother and sisters... that comfort one gets from them. The society says that women cannot be friends but it was never like that for me. There was no competition or jealousy) For me all females are beautiful," Akansha went on to add.
after exposing her secret, Akanksha said, "I want to say in front of everyone that I have never seen a more evil person in the world who is so heartless and insensitive. Tumne jo Sufi ke saath share kiya hai na mera secret, thank you so much. Mereko bol rahi ho maine tumko support nahi kiya, but what you told Sufi, I didn't even share with you. We had a conversation backstage. You overheard it and used it."
Akanksha further added, "Don't trust this woman. The thing wasn't even part of the show, but she brought it into the game. So, just for the record, I don't have any lifelines now. She can go to any extent to backstab you. God bless you. I hope bhagwan aur tumhara karma thoda sukh shaanti de aur tumhare andar jo logon ke liye gandagi aur hatred hai na voh kabhi toh kum ho."
Meanwhile, the first contestant to be evicted from Lock Upp was Shresta Iyer, the sister of Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer.
