The Delhi Daredevils will want to grab a hat-trick of wins in IPL 2016 when they host the Mumbai Indians at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Saturday. DD have been impressive in their last two matches, putting on sterling bowling and batting performances to come up trumps.

Now, the target will be three wins on the bounce, something they last achieved in the 2012 season. "We have momentum on our side and Mumbai Indians are a good side, they are the defending champions, so whichever team plays well on the day will win," Karun Nair, the Delhi Daredevils batsman, told the IPL website. "We are just concentrating on our process and we will give it our best on the ground and the result will take care of itself."

One of those processes will be to get the spinners in play again. Amit Mishra was the star with the ball for the Delhi Daredevils in their last home game, picking up four wickets in the match, and if the leg-spinner ends up having a similar outing, DD will come away with a win.

While Mishra hogged the limelight in the Daredevils' last home game, Quinton de Kock was the main man in their last match, against RCB at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Outshining Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers is a near impossible job, but De Kock managed to do just that, scoring a wonderful century to guide Delhi to a big win.

If De Kock fires at the Kotla on Saturday, MI will have a big problem on their hands. But then, the champions have the bowling to stop the Delhi batsmen in their tracks. In Mitchell McClenaghan, Tim Southee and Jasprit Bumrah, they have three really top-quality seamers, while Harbhajan Singh and Krunal Pandya could come in really handy on this Kotla wicket.

How well the bowlers respond to the conditions could be the difference between victory and defeat for the Mumbai Indians in this match over the Delhi Daredevils.

"At the end of the day as a team you go out there and try to put to practice what you have done," Kieron Pollard was quoted as saying by IPL's official website. "That's what we have done as a team.

"Once you know you have given a 100%, executed well, and it didn't come off, then you say OK the team played better than you. If you have faults, you try to address those faults. At the moment, again, it's just a matter of executing properly."
