After months of speculation regarding the successor of LG's flagship smartphone Optimus G, a new report of alleged leaked specifications of LG Optimus G Pro has surfaced in the online media.

An anonymous tipster has reportedly sent a leaked specification list and also a teaser snap shot of Optimus G Pro to technology website Engadget.

A Japanese website, Blog of Mobile, also released a similar spec list corroborating the Engadget's report.                                                                

LG Optimus G Pro is said to be released initially by carrier partner NTT DoCoMo in Japan.

Rumours of new smartphones and tablets peak during the start of every year as international technology conventions such as CES (Consumer Electronics Show) and MWC (Mobile World Congress) are scheduled earlier in the year to show-off the world's technological advancement in consumer electronics.  

The speculated LG Optimus G Pro smartphone is expected to make its debut at the MWC 2013 which will be held in Barcelona, Spain in February.

LG's fellow South Korean rival Samsung is also expected to unveil Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet at the MWC 2013.
