Chinese consumer electronics giant Lenovo officially launched the new Vibe Shot smartphone in India on Tuesday (22 September).

The new Lenovo Vibe Shot is touted to be the world's first smartphone to boast tricolor flash. It is learnt that the phone's sensors ( with low-light BSI 16:9 sensor) can analyse the light condition of the surroundings and accordingly light up the flash -- without blinding people -- to get high quality image of the user's face with natural colour complexion.

Lenovo Vibe Shot also boasts dedicated camera shutter button and a slider button with auto and pro mode. If the user chooses auto-mode, the phone intuitively identifies the surrounding through dedicated sensors to tweak the camera settings accordingly. And in the pro-mode, users get full control over the camera's settings to tweak shutter speed, white balance, focus, ISO and exposure to take images .

To further enhance the photography experience for amateurs, the company has also incorporated OIS (Optical Image Stabilsation), smart composition mode, infrared autofocus (2 times faster than normal autofocus) and other editing tools to help users capture professional quality images.

In the front, the company has incorporated an 8mp camera and its wide-angle mode can stitch three selfies into one whole image.

Lenovo Vibe Shot India price and availability details:

The company has confirmed that the new Lenovo Vibe Shot will come with price-tag of ₹25,499 and hit retail stores in couple of weeks across India. Prospective buyers can pre-book the phone from Tuesday evening 6:00 pm on the company's official e-commerce site, The Do Store [HERE].

The new Lenovo Vibe Shot will be up against the popular OnePlus 2, Samsung Galaxy A8 and soon-to-be-released Moto X Style in India.
