"The Legend of Korra" fans might have lost hopes on a new season or a spin-off series, but they received a special treat from the voice artists of Korra and Asami during the Sac-Anime Summer 2015.

At the semi-annual convention held at Sacramento, voice artists Janet Varney (Korra), Seychelle Gabriel (Asami) and David Faustino (Makko) interacted with followers of the animation show. They discussed about their upcoming projects and the future of the Avatar series.

In response to fans' request, Varney and Gabriel even acted out a marriage proposal scene of the popular lesbian couple wherein they ended up admitting love for each other.

In July, "The Legend of Korra" co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino teased about their plans to explore the lesbian relationship between Korra and Asami Sato through a three-part comic book series. "We're definitely going to focus on Korra and Asami's relationship," they said.

However, it is not clear if Nickelodeon or Netflix will adapt the trilogy for a television series. They are yet to make any official announcement regarding a new season or a spin-off of "Avatar: The Last Airbender" sequel.

But followers of the animation series have filed two online petitions requesting Netflix to either take up the show or create a spin-off series.
