Kim Kardashian, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," star has been the subject of harsh speculations, given her pregnancy and divorce rumors. But the 34-year-old mother of one took to Twitter to clear the air before the year ended.
On New Year's Eve, Kim posted a series of tweets starting with:
"lets clear up some rumors before the new year.... I'm bored looking online and seriously don't know where they come up with this stuff!"
The first rumour that Kim brushed off was that she was not pregnant. Several media outlets have been insinuating at the star's second pregnancy, reading between lines and comments she gave at interviews.
"I wore my regular clothes and tried to make it — I would just buy a size up. I don't know if I would necessarily do that this time around," she said at one interview. The fact that she said "This time around" triggered off fresh rounds of speculations.
But of late, many reports have claimed that she is having trouble getting pregnant. Kim has been open about the fact that Kanye and she were trying to conceive but apparently, some gynaecology problems have been hampering that. It has been reported that she is taking fertility treatments too.
However, Kim didn't address those issues in her rumour-clearing series of tweets but lashed out at the stories that said she and Kanye were splitting.
"Kanye & I are not having marriage problems. We're literally obsessed with each other!" her second tweet read.
Many websites have been reporting that the two have been spending time apart and have been having a lot of arguments. Some even went on to claim that the couple is headed to divorce court for custody of their one-and-a-half-year-old daughter North West.
Sources also told certain outlets that Kanye is upset with Kim for not being able to have another baby, but the reality is far from what is being touted.
"There has been strife in the marriage of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. But it's not about them getting a divorce. There have been a lot of rumors about that. This is not the issue. We found out they are trying to get pregnant again -- desperately wanting to have another baby, but it is not working out...this is a sad story," a source told TMZ.
Kim also added that Scott Disick did not buy a $4 million bachelor pad in Beverly Hills but has just started a new renovate and flip business.
"Scott did NOT buy a bachelor pad in Bev Hills. He is starting a new business venture buying homes & renovating them to re-sell," she tweeted, adding that's all the rumors that she could think of now.
She signed off with a positive New Year's tweet.
"The Wests are cooking, watching movies and just relaxing tonight. Best way to ring in the new year! Hope you all are safe and having fun! Xo"
