Earlier in the week, Motorola, in collaboration with American Network carrier, Verizon Wireless, officially unveiled Droid Turbo. Now it is learnt that the flagship phone might get released in South America as well.
Brazilian website Tecnoblog has claimed that Motorola has invited select media houses for the event scheduled at 10am on 5 November at Sao Paulo.
In the invite, besides details of the time schedules, the company has posted a half-image of smartphone, what seem to look like the Droid Turbo. This specific model is strikingly similar to the - Black Ballistic Nylon (aka Kevlar) - variant. [Check-out the media-invite, HERE]
The invitation's caption (translated) says, "technological experience without boundaries," hinting that Droid Turbo might not only get released in Brazil, but also in other markets including India, which has lately become Motorola's one of the largest revenue-churning market in the world since it began its second innings in early 2014 with the launch of Moto G (Gen 1).
It has been said the Droid Turbo, which is exclusively sold via Verizon Wireless in USA, will be sold with a new moniker – 'Moto Maxx' – when it hits stores in global markets.
[Note: Motorola Droid series has been exclusive to Verizon Wireless carrier network since its first inception, five years ago]
